Financial Advisor

Mark is a member of the wealth management team and specializes in estate planning. "Wealth management affairs are complicated for everyone since they involve financial planning, asset management, estate planning, income tax planning, insurance planning, etc.," Mark explains. "Not only is each of these areas complex in its own right, but decisions in one area also affect decisions in the others. I find it extremely valuable to have the experience in several of these areas so that I can help our clients make informed, confident decisions." Mark has a deep and diverse background that uniquely positions him to help our clients address a broad range of wealth management issues. Before joining GBB, he was a financial advisor with Monument Financial Advisors, LLC, and a trust administrator with Monument Group Fiduciaries, LLC. He also served as a trust and estates lawyer with Woodman & Eaton, P.C., and King & Navins, P.C. Mark is a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and the Sacramento County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento. He received a BA in history from Williams College and a JD from Washington & Lee University School of Law.

" Think about it: pensions have disappeared in the private sector. They will have to be modified in the public sector. Social Security will have to be modified in some way to remain solvent. Corporate America and our government are off-loading the task of retirement planning to you and me. And to make it really difficult, we are all living longer. You better know what you are doing – or hire someone who does."
